Bite-Guards
Bruxism and Tooth Wear is a common phenomenon where individuals can cause tooth wear through persistent clenching and grinding.This can result in significant deterioration in the appearance of the teeth and also hypersensitivity and fracturing.We can provide an appliance similar to a sports gum shield for use at night or stressful daytime situations. The appliance can be made of a hard or soft material depending on the severity of the problem.

Joint Dysfunction can develop in some patients which causes problems with the way their jaw joints operate. This can present as pain or clicking or limitation in opening the mouth or abnormal movements.To help alleviate and resolve these problems we can construct a removable appliance, which fits over the teeth is designed to allow the joint and the muscles to reposition into the normal comfortable position.This treatment may take several visits over some time and might require further treatment to the natural teeth to create a more stable biting relationship.
