Qualified at UCH, London in 1980

Worked for oral surgery departments in Shrewsbury, Epping and Blackpool, then general practice in London and Sydney, Australia before settling back in Shrewsbury in 1986.

Joined the practice in 1986 becoming a partner in 1988. Undertook further training in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry (uses tooth coloured filling materials exclusively) and implantology with Cemal Ucer in Manchester.

Continued to combine general practice with a part time position with the oral and maxillo-facial surgery department at RSH until 2005.

Married to (midwife/practice nurse) Gill. Two daughters. Lizzie and Katherine.

Interests include offshore sailing and family, but unfortunately not in that order.
